( Also in park: Camera and Film box and Table Rock we enjoyed
both)
We came to have a day of hiking and fun. Packed
fishing poles, picnic lunch, swim gear and a frisbee. We approached the
park from Rte 44 and entered. There is a small fee to enter. We parked the
car near the swimming hole . As you pass the swimming area you wil note a
large open field, that is where to begin.
At the edge of the field against the woods you will spot a
very large tree reaching for sunlight - go to it. Take 10 paces ( count
left foot) along the edge of the woods.
Face the woods and go straight up the slope to pose on
top of a large rock.
View a rock at 100 degrees & 10 paces go to
it.
At that rock take a reading of 60 degrees uphill to the end of
a dead tree. Under the living one in a squirrels storage space you will find 4
Cousins.
It is a busy park stamp secretly and return to secret
location. Have Fun!
